Projects

I am in love with Pinterest! I have found soooo many ideas that I just love. For Christmas this year, I "borrowed" some of these ideas for gifts. I am proud of how they turned out!!
Follow me on Pinterest and beware, you will be sucked in and have missing time!!!!!

I found a recipe for sugar hand scrub, and right away I knew this was something my girls & I could make. I bought some cute snap lid jars (from Hobby Lobby and Target) and the supplies, and we made our scrub at the kitchen table in about 10 minutes. I had some rub-ons and stickers that we used to decorate the jars {for more of a personal touch}. I thought this was a great gift for Jordyn's teacher, my family {sisters, mother, stepmother} and my co-workers. It smells soooo good, and it really makes your hands soft.

I pinned this idea on my Gift Ideas Board.

The only thing I did differently was to add some Neutrogena body oil for extra moisture.

I also found this cute organizer idea and tried to make one out of my paper stash. I used an organizer I bought some time ago from Hobby Lobby.
I had saved some inspirational calendar pages & decided to use one here! Jordyn & I put some paper clips, candy, and mints inside, leaving most of the openings empty.

This idea also caught my eye. Great inexpensive gift, right!? Here is my version, and I have only made 1 so far but have supplies to make more...

Here is the frame without the Post-It notes {Left} and the frame with the notes {right}. I added some extra double sided tape to the back of the pad to keep it in place. According to the note she sent, Jordyn's teacher was pleased with the gifts. I don't think they turned out half bad myself.
